By accessing or using the Califonia Noticies platform at californianotice.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service. Your continued use of the platform following any updates to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Service Description

Califonia Noticies provides legal document automation software that assists California landlords in generating residential notice documents. Our platform applies a rules-based compliance engine to produce notices that align with California state law and applicable county and city ordinances based on information you provide.

Califonia Noticies is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The documents generated by our platform are based on the information you supply and the legal rules encoded in our system at the time of generation. We strongly recommend consulting a licensed California attorney for legal advice specific to your situation, particularly for contested tenancies or complex factual circumstances.

We do not guarantee any legal outcome. The validity of a notice in an unlawful detainer proceeding depends on many factors beyond document content, including proper service of process, accuracy of the facts provided, and court interpretation of applicable law.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information you provide through our questionnaire. Incorrect addresses, dates, rent amounts, or tenancy details will result in incorrect documents. Califonia Noticies is not liable for documents generated based on inaccurate information supplied by you.

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You may not use Califonia Noticies to generate harassing, fraudulent, or legally baseless notices. Misuse of the platform may result in account suspension and referral to appropriate authorities.

4. Payment

Per-notice fees are charged at the time of document generation and are non-refundable once the PDF has been generated and made available for download. Monthly subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period.

All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method. All prices are in US dollars and exclusive of applicable taxes.

5. Limitation of Liability

Califonia Noticies is not liable for the outcomes of any legal proceedings in which notices generated by our platform are used. Our liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the specific notice or service giving rise to the claim.

In no event shall Califonia Noticies be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users or by prominent notice on the platform. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last revised.
